Electrician & Fitter

Electrician:-

The ITI Electrician is a 2 year course approved by the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training). The electrician is a tradesman specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, transmission lines, stationary machines, and related equipment. The electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical components or maintenance and repair or existing electrical infrastructure. The electrician courses are generally focussed on either construction or maintenance, although many do both. The electricians specialize in constructing primarily install wiring systems into factories, businesses, and new homes, maintenance fix and upgrade existing electrical systems and repair electrical equipment.


Electrician trade focuses on various aspects of electricity such as – wiring (residential, commercial and industrial), home appliances, electrical machines, lighting, electrical installations etc.

Course Detail

What students learn during the ITI electrician course-

The course starts with basic safety practices. Further, you will be taught the following topics-

ITI Fitter is a mechanically related branch, Where you get to learn about fitting. Within this 2-year course, you are given such knowledge so that you can work with any kind of fitting. Pipe fittings, Machine fitting, and structure fittings are the main working areas, on which a fitter works.

Admission Criteria & Procedure

Qualification Prescribed by the respective trades and test conducted by ITI and also based on personal interview /counselling. The minimum no of students in each trade shall get admission. We also ensure that all documents related to students i.e birth certificate etc.. shall be kept in safe custody & maintained record.

Apart of the above the following mechanism follows for admission of the students- The dates is published for both the trades announced. Advertisement shall be carried out in local areas news paper and publically canvasing one is to one etc. All the enquiry through telephonicphonic & personal shall be recorded in register. Date for test as well as interview shall be announce well in advance i.e minimum one week lead time & announced to the deserving candidates.

While selecting the candidates the reservation guideline as per NCVT shall be adhered. A First list shall be announced & displaced on notice board and it cut off date shall also be announced accordingly. After first cut off list second & third (if necessary) shall be released & displaced on notice board with cut-off dates. All the finally selected candidates shall be registered & sent their respective classes. We shall reserve the seats for ST/SC & OBCs candidates as state government’s policies.

Application can be obtained from our web site – www.acmtagra.com or from institute’s designated offices on all working days between 10am to 5pm

The last date for obtaining & submission of the application form shall be decided /published by the institute. Guidelines for filling up the application: Applicants should have taken extra care whiling filling up the desired trades in the application form.

Following documents must be enclosed with duly filled application form.

High School Mark sheet copy
High School Certificate copy
Higher educational mark sheet/certificates copies (if any)
Passport size recent photo – 5 copies.
Caste certificate (if claiming) the age relaxation.
Photo ID proof (Voter ID/PAN Card) copy
Address proof copy (Rashan Card/ Driving License / Aadhar Card)

Applicants need to be physically fit & fine at the time getting admission in to the institution. Note:- If any student is leaving the training session in between term period i.e. before completing the course period the deposited fee/registration fee/form fee etc will not be refunded in any case. However except the refundable caution money.
